The controls are based on the MGS control system. They can be confusing at first because you can't back against walls in this version. But if you can back into walls, the control system makes a whole lot more sense. Hopefully the game can be expanded in the future to include sneaking and more.
Please see the new version of Bacteria Tower Defense 1.0 - with a good number of changes as you guys suggested. Thanks for the feedback! I'd delete this version but seems like I can't.
Thanks for all your input for the beta version! I tried to put in as many of the suggestions as possible. There have been some minor changes in the gameplay. I hope the new UI is easier to use and less confusing. And an optional tutorial is now included detailing the basics on picking towers and the rest of the features. Will be working on badges in the near future. Hope to make more and better games for you guys in the future.
Thanks for all of your comments and patience with my first game! In the next update, I'll try to put in an intro or demo to help introduce the elements more smoothly as many of you have suggested.
Note: If you need info about which antibiotics damage what bacteria, just click on the yellow "ID&Sensitivities" button or press" I" to bring up a chart. + is 100% damage, ~ is 50% and - is very little damage, no marker is 0% damage.
Try playing Basic mode (maybe should be labeled Training Mode?) first to get a hang of the towers before trying regular mode.
When in doubt, use white blood cell towers - works great. Several people have beat easy and normal with mostly those towers!
