For level 24 spam the purple base right next to you sending all your troops. Then let them take your first base, since they all go for your first base you can end up easily taking it back once they attack it once you have your original base and your second base you can start winning.

for level 24 keep trying to send 2 fast waves to the bottom midle island, it may take a couple of games till you hit the right AI, its basically what fuzzyfsj said but you have to be lucky to hit the right AI attack combo, i had full regen and slow enemy ships in upgrades
