This is a strategy game where you need to take care of economics and building armies in the map mode and then fight battles to occupy enemy territory and defend yours. Battles are real time, but can be controlled when paused. You have different ways to define your troops formation before the battle starts.

great game. I love the depth of the gameplay both in the world map and the tactics on the battlefield. Its a shame the deep strategy games get rated low because people dont take want to take the time to learn them.

Great game, but the enemies have a significant advantage. They can control each individual, while I have to pause and control groups of units, 'cuz if I control each unit I will have to spend about half an hour on a single battle, and my units often get stuck in eachother's way.
Still, a great game, 5/5.

Reminds me a lot of the old KOEI Sega Genesis games. Fantastic concept and game mechanics, very in-depth strategy - but no campaign or plot to really hold everything together. The game should be redone as a 2nd version with a campaign/plot and maybe some events or cutscenes, an ending scene might be nice. As a pure strategy game though, this game excels. 5/5 in my book regardless.
