This game needs keyboard controls for choosing what object needs to be built. Such as 1-8 for each option.

BOSSES: Setup: Make sure to build a well protected economy on early waves, you'll need it. While i prefer railguns against most standart enemies, plasma is great against heavy armor and bosses. Guns will get destroyed if the block immediately under them is destroyed, so build setups with platform blocks, but consider using an armor block where you plan to actually place weapons, then demolish anything below. Building weapons in mid-air rows / clusters of 3 is a nice strategy, since you can easily replace them as long as there is at least 1 block left. Lategame, at late waves your mines should sustain a constant shift+build of armor blocks to protect essentials, while your guns tear the enemies apart. --- Against the first boss: keep at least 1 housing under a thick layer of armor and concentrate your resources on building siege guns. You'll want a lot of firepower in place before the boss spawns to keep the fight as short as possible.

WEAPONS AND UPGRADES: Siege guns are the way to go early on, and are decent weapons throughout the whole game. Unlock them immediately, then get gun munition upgrades + fast reloader and you're ready to go. If you feel like things die too quickly, get shielding upgrades. Lasers are nice early to midgame weapons - while not being especially powerful they can be placed on ground, protected by several layers of armor and still hit everything. Lategame weapons are maxed siege guns, plasma and railguns. Deathray might be nice for bosses, but is usually not worth the cost on missions, due to its problems hitting moving targets.
