Watch a virus spread among people and see how it is affected by different parameters.
Inspired by an article in The Washington Post, Why outbreaks like coronavirus
spread exponentially, and
how to “flatten the curve”
Parameters
- Number of people
- Movement speed
- Incubation time — time between becoming infected and becoming sick
- Illness time — how long a person is sick
- Mortality rate — percentage of sick people that die
- “Social distancing” — percentage of people that minimize their movement to avoid spreading the infection

Change any parameter and click Restart to watch the virus spread.
