"kick" function allows for "unlimited" lives as you can press the space bar just before the balls goes out of play. The kick function also allows game play without using the paddle to bounce the ball. Otherwise fun game. could use some power ups...ie more than one ball in play..more powerful ball...weaker ball..but that's just my silly opinion : )
