遊戲簡介
Split Or Steal is based on the Game Theory concept of The Prisoner’s Dilemma.
Two users will be selected from a pool of online players, and are presented with a potential reward. The players are given a maximum of 2 minutes to speak with eachother - at which point, they can then choose to either share, or attempt to steal the reward.
Any players who successfully split, or steal in a game will advance to the next tier, where a larger reward is offered - or they can take their earned winnings, and cash out.
Any players who are eliminated by either being stolen from, or attempting to steal and failing, will lose all of their earned winnings, and return to the first tier of prizes.

I know, right? The Kong community are waaay nicer than the test groups - the test groups usually turned savage around Tier 3 or 4! I'll have to develop some more content to give everyone a way to spend their winnings :)

Strategy: split against good people, steal from thieves then immediately cash out. This punishes thieves while not adding more thieves to the pool.

Despite what you'd expect at first, most of the time people will split with you, and it makes complete sense. Because this is actually not the Prisoner's Dilemma at all! 1) There's a long-game aspect. People know who you are, they remember your past choices and will adapt accordingly. 2) Repetition is fast and comes with no penalties, so you can try as many times as you want. Together, these constraints mean that building up trust is really the only viable long-term strategy. Props to the dev for making such an interesting experiment possible :)

The oath of the hotdog clan:
If you are to don the hotdog suit, you must enter under the oath described by our legend, Lebossle. I quote, "Strategy: split against good people, steal from thieves then immediately cash out. This punishes thieves while not adding more thieves to the pool." If you abide by this oath, you will bring honor to the hotdog clan. If not you will be cast out a heretic and everyone will hate you and steal from you, like one rightfully named the hotdog thief. I will not name him in order that he may redeem his good name. Brethren, huzzah!
