No problems with freezing for me.
Love games like this. My only wish would be to make the stats upgradeable and more levels.

i prefere mouse controls but this one was quite fun.

davzig, I don't think the stats need to be upgraded at all. (I choose the ship that favored attack (4) and speed (4), has average armor (3), but lacks in control (2)) After a few power-ups, only the bosses could survive a shot. At the end, I was shooting homing missiles, side-lasers, and about 20 lasers out of my main cannon. I didn't need to use the bombs at all.
I do agree that there needs to be more levels, but I think there should be a harder mode. Or a level that crams loads of enemies onto the screen. Good game though 5/5
