Actually, I just read that the levels are all spontaneously generated based on performance. So maybe a) make it clear that there's no specific progress or endpoint, and b) offer an easy/hard option to inject into the desired scale right out of the gate.

Concurring with too many levels. I'm in the 30s and the difficulty hasn't ramped up much past tutorial scale. If you want to keep this many, split them into difficulty packs or something.

It's well-made, but I agree with others that it doesn't quite grab me. I'm glad I read the other comments before playing - it was useful to know that mistakes would slow down my level progress. And while I think it's really cool that the difficulty is tailored to each player, I could see that limiting some of the appeal on a site like this - leaderboards and the like wouldn't have the same draw, since the better I am, the harder it is for me to reach level 100.

As for how to make it more engaging - maybe have rewards of some kind? A picture, where part of it gets revealed every 5 levels? Stars for every level without a mistake? Start out with a smaller board, so that it's visually clearer that you're 'advancing'? Make it clear that the 'goal' is to reach level 100? And I agree that different music would be an improvement - something a little less rapid and less synthetic sounding. But congratulations on a well-executed unique concept!

Too many levels... Got bored around level 70, and i see from the comments there are over 100 levels. Would be better to have fewer levels but ramp up the difficulty quicker.

1. overall the game isn't bad -- but I would like a way to shut off the music. and 2. it does get boring after a bit... not sure how you can spice things up.
