this game had awsome potential.... then i got stuck and read posts on other sites and it turns out i`m not stuck.... the games just buggy

I have 2 thin chains, 2 small gears, 2 pinions, 2 weights, a pendulum, a pivot, a key, 2 batteries, a hammer, a book, a screwdriver and a black box that needs batteries but won`t take them or open with the screwdriver
