why do I always get shitty power-ups like a cloud or jack-in-the-box?

This game needs the option to look behind your kart and when you get a power up the chances of what you will get should be the same not always cloud and jack in the box and maybe after 30 clouds one magic carpet.Also more customization of karts more power ups and more stages would be nice.

So I hit start a race like screen comes up it says ready get set go. I start trying to steer controls seem very unresponsive. I do this for about 5 minutes I then scroll down to start writing a comment about this. I then think well maybe I should look at the game screen one more time. See's a huge race button at the bottom of the screen that's one epic fail for me lol.
