When doing the block puzzle, you DO NOT have to have the last block stop within the dotted square! As long as there is a block within each designated space, merely having the last block pass through the target is enough!

For the people who did not get out of the hole after getting the dash. Remember that you ca dash in all directions, even upwards!

If you let go of all arrow keys before you press D, you'll freeze in the air briefly and can choose your dash direction.

Spoiler - To get the secret in the white area you have to do two things. On the starting screen with the bed you need to move 2 blocks to the far left to create a two square platform - and you need to keep the third block on the far right of the screen. After that you hit them UP into the sky. Then, at the end of the level where you get the black square, you need to move two blocks over to create a platform so you can jump-dash up-jump to get out of it. Then you move a bunch of squares left. I recommend jumping into the second pit to see what you have to do before jumping into the 1st pit so you don't have to walk back.

I was annoyed at this for a while, the white room specifically, as I had gotten the correct solution on the 3rd puzzle and didn't realize the door had opened. Then tried for some time to get the left-most block to stop exactly on its intended square, which is impossible while still getting the others in into position. So I raged, but it was more my fault than the game's. I'm adult enough to admit that.
