Needs more challenge and more gameplay elements. It gets boring the way it is because it's too repetitive, it's also extremely easy (had like 24 lives on level 4).
Anyway, I noticed it's your first game. Good job, keep learning.

It would be really helpful to know what the different colored power ups do. I know that the "G" power up creates a shield, but I don't know what L does or any of the others.
Also I second that it's too easy. I tried dying so I could leave this comment, by that point I somehow had over 17 lives and I ran into every single piece of Space Debris I could and it still took at least 40 hits before I died.
