This is a complete demo, and only being used to get feedback on the basic engine. The interface is very primitive, as it is for beta testing only :) PLEASE POST FEEDBACK! Thanks!

There isn't really any goal for the beta because its just for testing:
You are the fleet on the left, destroy the Argon fleet's Fighters or Capitol FlagShip
Your flagship will automatically fire (in real version you can control it). Your flagship starts at 8,000 SHIELD, 70 Fighters (2hp each), the argon start at 12,000 SHIELD and 140 fighters.
Arrow Keys: Move Captain
Space: Fire Captains Cannon
CTRL: Rapid Fire and Movement (needs to be recharged)
Click FIGHT, CHARGE, or FOLLOW at the bottom to issue Fighter Commands.
-FIGHT: Normal bob and weave movement
-CHARGE: Fighters fly straight ahead
-FOLLOW: Fighters align at Captain's position to concentrate fire power.

hmm its good.maybe a ship creator and upgardes with some new ships,and the bases could have hull not only shields.

I think something that would be abit fun to add to this, would be differnt races. For example,
A race that is strong, their fighters taking 2 hits before going down. Slower, less numberous, but they shoot 2 shots at once.
A race that has a suicide attack, but 2 times more then normal amount of units. They are faster, they go up close to enemies, but they are 1 hit killed.
Perhaps even a race where there is only your ship. Were you use kills as points to build structures to produce more units.
Also, to explain the .5, its probably to set the game working or something.
