Added shortcuts; M for map, I for inventory, Enter/Esc for taking items from chests.

Wow, I won. Didn't think I would, seemed stingy with potions. It's not bad, but not great. Could really REALLY use some keyboard shortcuts, like m for map. No real benefit in fighting enemies for the most part is my main criticism.

Good ten minute game. A bit short on selection among the types of armor and weapons, but otherwise everything works.

Agreed on the no keyboard shortcuts, that's not helpful. Also, why require people click on close instead of just hitting the button again to close it? Kinda unnecessary step there. This kinda feels like a shot at working out how things work for this sort of game, if that's the case you're on the right road. But, it needs things like the aforementioned tweaks, an less clunky interface, and a bit more interesting loot system from both mobs and chests. Finding stuff from level 1 way the heck into the game was just irksome at best.
You shouldn't be able to find early loot later than 1 level from where it first appears now and enemy drops have been improved + increased.

Here are a few bugs with equipment : The Holy Helmet's armor bonus versus undead doesn't work versus spectres (maybe versus other undeads as well), and the 40% damage return of the Spiked Platemail only works versus mages (the guys that ignores armor). I tested these extensively. I'd like you to email me when these problems are corrected.
