Increased overall brightness and decreased max darkness at night. Made it easier to find the first few groves. Fireflies now direct you to the final grove when all others are restored. Added tree saplings around the map and made a few other improvements to graphical variety.

Ok, got to the first grove just fine. Kept climbing and climbing, got to the end, says come back after you find all the groves. Went back to first grove. Nothing between the two, no idea where the groves are, or how to find them. Maybe map needs some work. Firefly was useless.

The firefly isn't useful until it gets dark. I'm working on changing the map to make the first few groves, especially the 2nd one since its not very dark yet, easier to find. Update tonight hopefully.

Great concept, but the environment lacks. More going on would add to the atmosphere (be it a barren landscape of vultures and moles or lush forest), it just seems empty. As others have said, it gets dark fast and if you can't find the first groves, you're left stumbling in the dark with 1 firefly. Some sort of direction for the player would be useful - the puzzle element seems to be in how to climb higher. If the puzzle element is finding groves, then clues should be left to give the player direction.

Great work, just some fine-tuning on playability would make it even better.

Thanks for the advice. More variety would be nice. I'll try to come up with a little something. I'm going to brighten up the map and perhaps reduce max darkness. Also, will make the first few groves more apparent.

Went in with the intention of restoring all of the mountain's groves, grass, and vines. Restored most of the mountain's mushrooms, instead. Would be greatly improved by a "fills in as the player explores" auto-map. Also, got annoyingly dark as soon as the first firefly was found.

great game, cool music, great idea... needs a world map tho... too easy to get lost. The controls are a little wonky (the step up) and graphics a little crude but overall cool idea ... looking forward to a version II

Thanks! I would like to do another eventually. I have a couple other games I want to do first so it will be quite awhile. The next I'm working on is a sequel to SpaceWrecked.

It's a little slow, and climbing the roots is tricky, but overall it shows some good thought. Sometimes you just have to throw a seed in the air and see if a vine comes down. I did find the fireflies useful once I got the hang of them - they turn blue when they are moving toward a grove and red when they are moving away.
