How does my pistol have an invisible red dot scope on it?

I do not like this game very much at all. Why even bother using the sniper rifle when you can just crush the game with the pistol?

So, I'm supposed to shoot the guys running from my position towards the enemy? And everyone is dressed in my uniform? The fail wagon has rolled up, and it wants this game.
