You're in a field . . . surrounded by zombies! Luckily, you can shoot fireballs. But don't shoot too much! You could overheat! If your heat goes too high, you can't shoot until you cool down.

Should either add upgradeable skills using points from killing zombies or random bonuses that appear on the field with more appearing later in the game (skills/bonuses could be: shot passes through multiple zombies, increased walking/shooting speed, multi-shot, etc.). Good first game though. (Oh, and add a kill/point counter on the field).

I thought this was really good for your first game! It was really cool how you made the zombies into Kong avatars. I think it would be better if you made the avatar you get match the zombie that killed you in the game. That way if there is a specific one color or design I want for my avatar, I could get it by being killed by that kind of zombie. I thought the "heat" concept was a little annoying, but I guess that's where skill comes into this game. I think it would be cool if you added some power ups to this game like: reducing heat to zero, rapid fire, and kill all zombies on the screen. It would give more incentive to move around; I just stood in one spot pretty much the whole time.

Maybe if you are going to add upgrades then think about what zombies you could add to use them fully. like maybe rapid fire is good against a wide spread group of fast zombies or shots go through zombies upgrade could have a group of zombies walking together. and maybe stronger bullets and have a boss that can take multiple shots. just a suggestion, and on a further note, I love the music!
