Poor controls and cheap deaths ruin what would otherwise be a good game. Use Input.GetAxisRaw to stop this sliding. Then I would say you need to change some of the mobs so that they are running further from player or increase camera size. And thirdly reform some of the mobs, like the fish that blow bubbles; just to frustrating.

jumping is bad, firing is bad, needs so much tuning I must give 1/5.
