ต้นแบบเกมที่นำไอเดียจากเกมชีวิตของ Conway ไปอีกขั้น เกมนี้นำเกมชีวิตของ Conway มาเพิ่มสภาพแวดล้อมและชนิดเซลล์ใหม่ ๆ หากมีคนสนใจโปรเจกต์นี้ ผมจะขัดเกลาและเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ เช่น ปรับขนาดกริด เครื่องมือแก้ไขที่ดีขึ้น ระบบบันทึกที่ดีกว่า ย้อนกลับ/ทำซ้ำ เพิ่มชนิดเซลล์ ฯลฯ
วิธีเล่น
Space - หยุด/เดินซิมูเลชัน 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 - เลือกชนิดเซลล์ 1 ถึง 7 Escape - ล้างกริด กติกา: a) Standard คือเซลล์ปกติจากเกมชีวิตของ Conway b) เซลล์ปรสิตจะแพร่กระจายไปยังเซลล์ปกติ เปลี่ยนให้กลายเป็นเซลล์ปรสิต 1. ถ้ามีเซลล์ปกติใกล้เคียง จะกลายเป็นเซลล์ปกติ 2. ถ้ามีเซลล์ปกติหรือ Builder ใกล้เคียง จะเปลี่ยนเป็นเซลล์ปรสิต 3. ถ้าไม่มีเซลล์อื่นใกล้เคียง จะตาย c) Builder คล้ายเซลล์ปกติ แต่จะตายเมื่อมีเพื่อนบ้าน 5 ตัวขึ้นไป ทำให้แพร่กระจายและสร้างโครงสร้างได้ d) Brick เซลล์เฉื่อย ไม่ตายหรือขยายพันธุ์ เหมาะสำหรับแบ่งกริดหรือแยกเซลล์ e) Water แพร่กระจายเร็วเหมือนน้ำท่วมกริด น้ำจะเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมของเซลล์อื่น 1. น้ำทำให้เซลล์ปกติขยายพันธุ์ได้เมื่อมีเพื่อนบ้านแค่ 2 ตัว 2. น้ำจะขยายไปในช่องที่มีเซลล์อื่นอยู่เหมือนฆ่าแล้วขยาย 3. น้ำไม่ตายจากการแออัด 4. น้ำจะแพร่กระจาย 8 ทิศทางทุกเจเนอเรชัน 5. ถ้ามีทรายติดกับน้ำ ทรายจะขยายไปแทนน้ำ f) ทรายขยายไปยังน้ำ 1. ถ้าทรายไม่มีเพื่อนบ้าน มีโอกาสตาย 30% ในเจเนอเรชันถัดไป 2. น้ำที่อยู่ติดกับทรายจะถูกแทนที่ด้วยทรายในเจเนอเรชันถัดไป

I like the concept. Maybe do a walkthrough with the basic cycles from game of life, then make a level to accomplish something, then introduce the other aspects of yours, add a level for someone to complete. I liked the thumbnail, I was hoping id see it.

To reproduce what you see in the thumbnail first flood everything with water then put 2 standard cells side by side and let it run As for your suggestion. It makes sense and would make the game approachable by a wider audience. I am just not sure if it's worth the time for this kind of game. I am already working on my next project which I think will have more mainstream appeal. I will be uploading a demo hopefully this or next weekend

One of the better demos I've seen on Kong. Curious to see if you can make a game of Game of Life.
Thank you! I am glad someone got some enjoyment from this project. If there is enough people who enjoy it I don't mind adding more features and polishing the visuals

this was a lot of fun to play around with, just not sure what the point is
There is no goal other than to have fun. I'm not sure how I could change a game like this into something with goals

Hours of entertainment, I've always been pretty obsessed with the game of life. This reminds me of the old falling sand games from back in the day. I would love to see a way to share different creations with people. I find myself spending stupid ammounts of time creating things
I can make the sharing feature. I hope you do end up using it and referring the game to friends

a fine game, just dont understand what anything does....
The fun in this game is to discover patterns that do certain things and then using it to make interesting effects like in the examples. I am aware that this is off putting to most people due to the difficulty to find interesting patterns
