Futhark - Odin's Quest

It feels too much like just another match 3 game. I do approve of the attempt at literary appreciation & history lesson, but I would have liked to see more of Odin's story unfold as you unlock the runes, not just a little blurb at the beginning & end.

Game play is smooth enough. Hints are clear. Further levels do not really add a challenge. Overall it is hard to lose. The falling runes you gather could be more noticeable & it would also be nice to have an idea of how many of each rune you have collected other than the visual brightening. Perhaps a little numbered meter under each rune so you know how close you are to unlocking or charging up a rune? The music is fine, though it started to put me to sleep. (That may not be your fault, but a lack of caffeine). My score: 3/5

Uninspired match three. The theme is nonexistent in gameplay. The runes are all the same. I was starting to get borde before level one but I am slogging through to see if I can finish it.

Easy, but lengthy and attention demanding :D. This is my second playthrough and got 15 million and somewhat points. I like this game, really. But there's really much space for improvement. Wake up, dev!

It's very nicely made though. Just needs something more gameplay-wise.
