Controls ARE explained; click "Instructions".
And you can't walk on the bridges because you aren't lined up properly, if you are in the right row you will go across just fine.

Not bad and kind of addictive. The bridges aren't an issue for me. I found it relatively easy to figure out which row they were on. I think it would help some to just divide the rows using some sort of line so that it is clearer. Also, it would be nice if boulders couldn't be hidden behind trees. Sometimes I hit one without even knowing it's there. The difficulty could be toned down a bit. I can't seem to get past level 4 no matter how well I'm doing when I get there. All in all I like the game and think it is very solid. 4/5
