Gravitease is a simple platformer that is intended to be moderately difficult. This is the first game that I have ever released and I would very much appreciate any constructive criticism. I imagine that it has many bugs waiting to be found.
I made this game using Stencyl as sort of a test to see what Stencyl is capable of. The sprites, music and sound effects were all made from scratch by me.

Thanks for playing.
วิธีเล่น
The object is to get to the end of the game as quickly as possible.
Use the arrow keys or A and D to move. Tap spacebar to jump. Hold space bar to "freeze" gravity at any time.

Version 1.2
-There’s a strange bug in room 11 that I’m trying to squash. The player is able to glide over the red floor tiles to the left, but not to the right.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I'm glad you are enjoying the game. I would like to incorporate those suggested features as I get more used to Stencyl. Special thanks to zgnumu for the bug report. I added a movement delay timer to the player that lasts .2 seconds upon creation which should work as a temporary fix to the screen reloading without the player bug. I'm going to try to find a better fix as this temporary solution could be a hindrance if a player is trying to do a speed run.

Upon further playing: The long fall level with a zig/zag was quite fun, the long horizontal flight room was rather frustrating - there was no way to know how much further you needed to go. The squares-within-squares level was where I got stuck. Bit of a bear to get through there.

Love the variable gravity mechanic, despite the tricky control. There are a few features that you could add for user convenience (ie. mute/volume, level select/state save), but otherwise the game works pretty well.

fascinating concept. The controls take some getting used to, though. even though the game is a platform/puzzler, I was particularly pleased at the lack of horizontal inertia.
