Old Wive's Tales is a story about a middle aged house wife named Ashely, who's husband has been sent to war that has been going on for hundreds of years.
Recently a powerful dark lord came into the world and grew in power by all the death and chaos brought between the two kingdom's.
As a result Ashely's husband went missing from an attack by the Dark lord during one of his undercover missions.
Ashely builds the courage to rescue her husband and perhaps make an end to this forsaken war.
Old Wive's Tales will be a open world game where any order of the dungeons can be completed with only the dungeon weapon being required to complete it, extra equipment and spells from previous dungeons can be used to aid the progress of each dungeon!
Mutiple endings are planned as well.
Old Wive's Tales is a top down adventure game influenced by golvellius and classic zelda games from the 90's. Currently in development by an extraordinary small team of 2 people (A husband and a wife) of which have full time jobs and an 8 month old baby.
วิธีเล่น
Arrow keys for moving M for Map, S and D for combat F for talking and interaction with objects, Esc for menu options and inventory.

We have uploaded a newer version to hopefully address the hanging problem in the loading screen, along with a few minor bug improvements. if any more problems show up please do not hesitate to let us know! thanks!

hitting start at title screen does nothing

got stuck when I was told there was a story teller in town. it wouldn't let me leave the conversation.
looks amazing from what I've seen though! can't wait for the full game. maybe smoother transactions between maps though
Thanks for the feedback! i presume you had a conversation with the npc near the gravestone and it got stuck? we will look into it and see if we can fix it.

this game has potintal. Should come with command list so we know what buttons to push (esc for menu, f to select in menu, press enter to start) puzzles are hard but great. feed back to know if you are in the right place would be nice. not sure how to save, pick up health or what to do after the witches house. This game is great and I look forward to seeing the rest of the game.
Thanks for the feedback its greatly appreciated, unfortunately we have only gone so far as the first Witches house, we are in a mad dash to make more but it will take some time with a team of two lol. We will have a brain storm on adding more information regarding the menu and saving, perhaps we will add it in the tutorial area along with an explanation on healing items.
