รายละเอียด
A Queen and Her Hive is a strategy game with bees: Think "Civilization bee!" As queen, you are charged with deciding where to found hives and how to assign jobs to your subjects. With these two powers, you must make sure your kingdom gathers enough honey to survive the winter, defends against hungry bears, and roots out zombie infiltration. To what greatness can you lead the kingdom?
วิธีเล่น
This game is experimental! Expect quick deaths, but don't give up! Click on icons for help and explainations. Move the camera by moving your mouse to the edge of the screen. Select hives with Q and E (Great if your camera wanders far from the visible world!) End your turn with enter. Clear the help text and pause with space.
A tip: when you found a hive, prioritize drones so the population rises faster. However, quickly lower drone births or your population will get too large and starve in the winter!

game mechanics vague. have no idea what to do or how to play.
The game admittedly has a bad tutorial, but you can try clicking on the various icons for some descriptions. Thanks for giving it a try!

Ok start of a game. "Civilization bee"? No. All i was doing is pressing space then enter and when i had a new queen made a new hive. This is it. I would suggest starting with a queen and every turn you get new drones which you can assign to do jobs. Scout new areas, collect honey, grow bigger, go to war with enemies and other hives for areas or protect your hive, and build new hives to expand your "Bee Empire". Keep it simple and research how real bees act. All you need is queens and drones. That with a little work on the area graphics could really make a great game.
Thanks for the feedback! I think it's safe to say this game, as an experiment, is really rough and bare bones, but those ideas could improve it if I ever revisit it!

Also, since you are using seasons you could have your scouts check an area and see how much nectar is available, you collect what is available move on to other areas, winter comes and next spring there is new nectar. As you grow you need more nectar and need to save for winter.

*sigh* Game is not "experimental", game is uninformed menu-navigation and clicking until boredom sets in, a single star is provided as rating, and the page is not revisited. Hmm... that, perhaps, is the experiment...
Thanks for playing! Sorry you didn't enjoy it. Some day, I'd like to come back and polish it up.

I felt more like grasshopper than bee.
