เริ่มต้นในปี 2004 เกมนี้ตั้งใจจะเป็นภาคต่อของ Escape from Elm Street ปี 2003 ผมกับเพื่อน Joe (SleazeRocker) ร่วมมือกันสร้าง แต่สุดท้ายก็หยุดไปชั่วคราว เราทำบ้างหยุดบ้างจนโครงการหยุดชะงัก ในปี 2005 ผมรีเมค Elm Street ภาคแรก ขณะที่ภาคนี้ยังพักไว้ จนต้นปี 2008 เราตัดสินใจกลับมาทำต่อ ปรับปรุงทุกอย่างและทำให้เสร็จ มันออกมาดีเพราะมีเวลาปรับแก้ปัญหาและขัดเกลาเกม อีกทั้ง Josh Kemp นักดนตรีก็สนใจทำเพลงประกอบให้ ซึ่งช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศได้เยี่ยมมาก ขอให้สนุก!

OK i have had enough. You people who have been mocking the fact that Jason doesn't look like Jason. You wanna know why.... Cause it is not Jason!!! If you get all the poster pieces, you can read it and it says 'I know Jason will save me' and 'I am a fanatic' oh and ' I have kept his machete and mask. Also collect all 32 files and you will find that Cabin 3 is filled with posters from all of his movies, the mask and machete and a TV with games console. You also find a bed which has been slept in. This could be a reason for the so called pj's. Or it could be the fanatic is trying to put his own twist on it. at the end of the day you can't mock a game you haven't completed.
