Wow, the design of this game is amazing. One of the most satisfying platformers I've played in years. Huzzah!

This is my favorite choose-your-own-adventure type of game I've ever played. I love the Kramer ending. The humor of the game helps a lot.

This is a beautiful game that blows the more simplistic story platformers out of the water. Just like how The Company of Myself took a step forward in games as art, this is the next great step - a complex story with interesting characters, all told through the awesome level design. Platformers - heck, all games - should strive to be this good. Well done.

Neat story and music, although I wish the actual levels had been paid more attention. Most of the levels were very similar and never once was there much creative thinking required to finish a level. Regardless, it was enjoyable. 3/5.

Haven't actually played much yet, but I've been sitting through lots of loading. Is this an art game? It presents its theme as if its artsy but then leaves you hanging. Seems unfocused. Also, loading is a horrible experience. I won't rate it yet because I haven't played it, but the amount of loading has seriously disinclined me from playing.

3/5. I agree with KaiserDragon about the gameplay, although it is a pleasant art game, the actual play isn't anything new or interesting. Its okay-ish.

5/5. I am pretty sure there is something very important about this game. Its incredibly well done, and magically addicting. The sure sign of brilliantly innovation is that it shocks you it hasn't been done before. Although I have flown around collecting orbs, never before has it been like the way this game does it. Well done.

1/5. I don't usually rage this hard at games, but everything that could be done wrong about this game is wrong. It tries to play itself off like its an art game, but for chrissakes the sentences in the intro sound like they were written by someone who does not speak fluent English. The intro is unbearably long, cliche, arbitrary and cheesy. Then the actual gameplay is a watered down version of Karoshi with the worst movement ever because the character is agonizingly slow. The level transitions try to play the game off like it is some sort of action fest while the levels themselves play beautiful music - the only thing somewhat likable about this game. Overall everything outside of the gameplay sucks, and the gameplay itself sucks because it is stale, stolen and painful. This is so outlandish it seems like it is supposed to be a parody, but if so, it is a poor parody because it is not 1) fun, 2) funny or 3) making fun of anything successfully.

5/5. This is an incredibly good metriodvania. The design is wonderful and the game is addicting. Really feels both old and new school at the same time which is incredible. Very, very well done.

3/5. Pretty good for a 72 hour game jam, though. I assume this game would be a lot of fun for people who try to speed run - the tension between spending the stars and getting to a thousand is brilliantly simple and very entertaining. I liked when I forsake furthur upgrades to get a thousand more quickly. Pretty fun, a nice quick little game.

4/5. This game is not only delightfully hilarious (I enjoy seeing the funny mock-quotes from Stalin, Hobbes, Locke, Mussolini and many more, as well as the party leaders being floating heads of Karl Marx) but also the game play is pretty entertaining. I laughed at loud once I was able to shiv people, and the game only got better from there . . . this is a keeper. Nice job.

I would agree with people comparing the elegance of this game's mechanics to that of portal's. The levels are excellently designed and the game is really fun overall. But there are pitfalls to comparing something to portal. For example, the eerie atmosphere of this puzzler led me to believe there was some sort of story to be revealed at the end - even if it was just a small, faintly artsy ending. I was sorely disappointed when there was not. Portal set the bar too high for stories in puzzle games. Regardless, a flash game of such high quality as this that can draw comparisons to an established console series and still look good is a really good game. Good job Nitrome. You did an awesome job.
