- Use the mouse to move your space ship around.
- When 8 energy tanks are full, right click to become temporarily invincible.
- Press P to pause the game.

Since 1.0.4 is a significant update to the game, and because many of the old code has changed, you will have to start a New Game, otherwise the game won’t function properly.

Pros ---- Music not bad. Graphics for a stream game are top notch.
Cons ---- Just.... boring. I'm sorry. So much potential yet falls very flat. This game has a lot of potential as a 1942 style shooter but just playing boss after boss feels just grindy and unsatisfying. I'm not trying to discourage the dev..... I think with this graphics engine a new installment could be a lot of fun. As a player, I wanted more minions leading up to the boss, and honestly think dropped power ups in this style game are a lot more fun than upgrade grinding.
An hour of my day not completely wasted, but disappointing over-all. I am giving 3 stars because of excellent graphics and the hope of more new and hopefully more exciting games from this dev. Cheers.

Thank you for taking your time with the game and your constructive feedback. This gives me the opportunity to improve and rethink on certain aspects of the game. It's my first attempt in making a bullet hell-like game, and I really welcome all suggestions players make to improve my art, code or music. Above suggestions require quite a significant update to the game. I'll see what I can do to get the most out of this game, as long it is feasible within the Kongregate file size limit.

Just updated the Floodshot Galaxy to 1.0.4. Be sure to start a “New Game” because of the many changes made to the source code, the game won't run properly otherwise.

Not bad. The scaling of resources received to upgrades purchased needs to be smoothed so that things don't get to repetitive. As an asthetic consideration having parts of the bosses flash as being vulnerable would look nicer than the same pods sticking out the side of each boss.
Thank you for your feedback. I will balance those resources a bit better in the next update. As for the esthetic part, I'll need to do some more brainstorming.

start up error message persists
It seems to happen only in Firefox at the moment. When I find a solution to this problem, I will update the game.

So you have to kill first boss to be able to upgrade anything? maybe check the difficulty level
I have updated the game. When starting a new game file, you will start with 500 resources instead of 0. I hope this will make things a bit easier for you and others when fighting the first boss.
