Logo após “Flur” lançado semana passada, este é o segundo dos nossos jogos do Game Slam 2011. A ideia é que cada dupla crie algo original e completo em 3 semanas. O jogo desta semana é Battle Blocks Defense, por Tosh Baird e Warwick Urquhart. Battle Blocks Defense é um híbrido criativo de puzzle/defesa onde peças de quebra-cabeça são colocadas no tabuleiro para agir como escudos, atacantes e geradores de energia. Combine peças da mesma cor em um bloco 3×3 para construir uma mega torre. Só o equilíbrio certo de torres, raciocínio rápido e nervos de aço vai te levar pelas 50 ondas de ataques inimigos. Aproveite o jogo e conte pra gente o que achou!

the main problem i see is how bad the large red blocks are, they need a higher firerate to be worthwhile to build, 9 normal blocks deal much more damage than one super, the only positive thing about them is they aim at enemies on any lane

Either I'm missing something or this game is waaaaaaay too hard.

It can take a little while to get the hang of, but once you get there you should find it become much easier. Try to build red super towers early, and put green shield blocks (or a super shield tower) in front of it early on. That will make life much easier!

I actually enjoyed it a lot! The ideas are fun and well worked, which is tough when there are so many repeats out there. The progression of the game was the weakest part for me. As the area you have to defend gets bigger, the number of pieces you can use to build stays the same. It seemed a little more frustrating instead of challenging. But, great job for a game in 3 weeks. Your games are always very well polished which I appreciate.
