Inspired by the classic arcade game Battlezone, drive your tank around the obstacles and shoot enemy vehicles.
This version is posted for the Game of the Week challenge and was written in five days. Further development may result in another release.
Requires Flash Player 10 for dynamic sound classes.
Como jogar
Arrow keys to move, space bar to fire, WASD to adjust gun angle.
(Home/End/PgUp/PgDn/Y/H/G/J to control camera independently ... not required for play and makes the game harder.)

fun once the yellow tanks kick in, i would make one more type of tank that appears when there would usually be only greens (one that shoots a bit, but not much)

Re 'the play area needs to be smaller' – it is infinite. Making the gameplay faster has the issue that after 5 minutes or so you would have difficulty surviving, but making the vehicles more manoeuvrable is definitely a possibility. Thanks for the comments :)
