Despite having old graphics, it's pretty decent. With all the tools available, I'm sure you can make better games. Fun yet short without being too grindy. The branching upgrade system is also a nice touch. Looking forward to seeing more of your games.

The arrow keys don't respond properly to command input, the will get stuck and reverse constantly.

That was pretty cool! I would suggest adding a spread shot weapon (although the shrapnel cannon was a *very* cool addition in itself), and having indicators on the buttons to make it clear what you've still have to buy. It wasn't clear to me that there was a second plasma sword available, for example.

forget what I just wrote there's a save system. But why not just continue automatically from the level you died in?

Simple but fun casual shooter. I'd agree that it's rather easy (shrapnel and dual-plasmablades makes you almost invincible) but i enjoyed the short ride.
