Most levels need high metal production to start Level 5, take whole left side first and tech to the bottom right. Dont start by building research, get another refinery then factory. if you can get the top left and defend it before you get attacked you will D one wave of attack then should be able to take top red. Easy once u get it, headache until then

On any mission where they have high defensive fleets protecting a sector try to push a fleet through to one of there weak systems in the back. Then expand behind the enemy targeting there factories and send attacks at them. they can fall easily if they don't have factories and they won't build factories on certain worlds.

fun game, can't pass level 3 without lagging to the point of webgl error though. also, fighting in more than 3 systems is unplayable at anything but 1x for same reasons as above
