- you should add an option to turn off sound
- I would expect "play again" to start a new game (the enemies are not reset for me)
- the game lags for me during explosions
- you should add screen bounds check - it is possible to leave the screen right now, making you invicible
- it is possible to have multiple bosses on the screen, in which case only the last one is shootable and only the first one displays its health. The bullets simply pass through the other bosses

There ARE bosses and powerups in most shootorials. And this is terrible. And the collision detection stand out as even more horrible than the rest of it.

well they have a boss and a power up unlike many shootorials. also try making boundaries
