Thank you all for playing, so here is a final update to round things out.
You can now purchase “upgrades” at locations with a shop (“K”)
This Upgrade gives you slight attack and shieldregen, but most importantly it recharges your health on kill depending on the hps of your enemy.
Added HARDCORE location.
Misc fixes and enhancements.
Thank you for playing again.
It was really rough developing this, mostly because i released it so early, also because i didn’t think things trough.
Next time, everything will be better :)

I can't open the shop, i'm spamming the up arrow key and the flash player is in focus, so something is wrong :P

actual upgrades, progress bars for levels, what magic beans actualy do if anything what do the levels do. get the phisical parts of the game working before worrying about how it looks

After the "Secret Sunday Update :)" I cant play. The game is slow like hell and my firefox collapsed around 3-4 times. At the beginning its ok but it gets slower and slower, and after 2-3 minutes its unplayable (for me). I tried to continue but it always ended with a nice collapse. I didnt like this update -.-"

my game version is still 0.3 and has not updated to 0.3b.

Shield ought to prevent my number from going down, no? As it stands... top number drops and bottom number drops... which sort of seems like shield does nothing.
The Shield acts like extra health. Basically, over the course of a fight the enemy takes the whole shield as damage. I played around with the idea that the shield could block the whole damage the enemy causes, but since it doesn't grow (the enemy grows while combat), it just delayed the fight.
