trying to shoot sometimes causes popups (buy a bldg.) obscuring the view, and since the game doesn't stop during said popups bad guys get away. Like it so far though that is a bother

I think this new (as far as I'm concerned) concept of being able to move your troops and shoot as you please is a neat idea! I think you can maybe spend more time, and improve the way the game looks, and maybe add an upgrade system, such as upgrading a tank for a sum of cash. And adding abilities to even more spice up the diversity of the game. As in, as you progress you earn a different type of money like stars that you can use between games to make a troop in general more powerful, or a weapon like an airstrike that recharges over the round you can use a hotkey to use, like you click a spot and an airstrike comes down dealing a certain amount of damage. This was a fun game, and it certainly can be improved!

I feel like auto fire and WASD controls would be a nice touch. That being said, i realise your going for tower defense, so maybe make it with a lifebar percentage that gradually recovers when you successfully defend?

Interesting game
tanks are kind of clunky, and the hitbox of the enemy is a bit small, also, only being able to use one tank at a time is a bit of a hard, though that might be because I'm using a trackpad.
It's an alright game
