It's not a bad idea, but I think you need at least 1 more variable in the players' control to make it engaging. Maybe have the player be in charge of moving the bowl once things start to come in along more complicated paths?
Also, the size of the screen really didn't work for me (on a laptop, Mac, Chrome). I had to shrink the whole page down by a fair bit for it all to be visible.
