Are boys not allowed to play this game? This appears to be intended for children, so maybe start with a checklist to mark what they are allowed to do in the kitchen. For example, they might not be allowed to handle knives or light a grill, so when you get to the part about chopped garlic and the part about grilling you have a button that asks a parent to help. If they ARE allowed to chop, the they can do the garlic by themselves. And if they ARE allowed to light the grill and grill food, then they can handle the grill by themselves. And if the game is for girls, why is the mom serving the dish at he end? If the kid cooked, the kid can serve. Oh, and wash the spatula since it sat on the counter for 8 hours after stirring raw chicken - or end with everyone at the dinner table dying of salmonella poisoning.
