Hot advice: make it possible to hold down fire button if this is anywhere near what your finished game will look like.

I have to agree with the other players, the ability to hold down fire would make this game so much better. I was worried that this was going to be another shootorial pain in the rear, but honestly, you won me over in the first three seconds with your artwork, even if the rest of the gameplay hasn't come together yet. Great start. I can wait to see where the game ends up. Drop me a line if you would like me to test it in the future.

Music might help a bit too =P It helps make a game unique; One Winged Angel and FF7 for example.

Great start to the game, didn't really notice any glitches, power-ups would definitely be cool, maybe throw in some lives and make it like one of those oldschool side-scroller arcade games.
