Three things need to be changed:
1. Enemy shouldn't spawn where you are and kill you instantly.
2. It's impossible to choose the right upgrade in the thick of things.
3. Achievements shouldn't block the gameplay area and get you killed.

I really hate to say this but the upgrade system annoyed me so much I had to rage-quit. I kept accidentally choosing upgrades before I could even read them just by being in the center of the room when they appeared. The game seems really good, but the upgrade system totally ruined my chances to see just how good.
