지난주에 업로드된 "Flur"에 이어, 이번 주 두 번째 Game Slam 2011 게임입니다. 각 2인 팀이 3주 안에 독창적이고 완성된 게임을 만드는 것이 목표였습니다. 이번 주 게임은 Tosh Baird와 Warwick Urquhart의 Battle Blocks Defense입니다. Battle Blocks Defense는 퍼즐 조각을 그리드에 배치해 방패, 공격수, 에너지 생성기로 활용하는 창의적인 퍼즐/디펜스 하이브리드 게임입니다. 같은 색상의 조각을 3×3 블록으로 결합해 메가 타워를 건설하세요. 타워의 균형, 빠른 퍼즐 플레이, 강한 멘탈이 50웨이브의 적 공격을 버티는 열쇠입니다. 게임을 즐기시고, 의견을 들려주세요!

the main problem i see is how bad the large red blocks are, they need a higher firerate to be worthwhile to build, 9 normal blocks deal much more damage than one super, the only positive thing about them is they aim at enemies on any lane

Either I'm missing something or this game is waaaaaaay too hard.

It can take a little while to get the hang of, but once you get there you should find it become much easier. Try to build red super towers early, and put green shield blocks (or a super shield tower) in front of it early on. That will make life much easier!

I actually enjoyed it a lot! The ideas are fun and well worked, which is tough when there are so many repeats out there. The progression of the game was the weakest part for me. As the area you have to defend gets bigger, the number of pieces you can use to build stays the same. It seemed a little more frustrating instead of challenging. But, great job for a game in 3 weeks. Your games are always very well polished which I appreciate.
