gets boring really fast this way, but i like the idea. Maybe you just need to ad some stuff in. Like the ship movement, make it more smooth going to the sides. If you dont like the idea of weapons then maybe some items you can pick up giving you a chance to slow down, repairing your ship. And maybe some bad ones, making your ship invisible or reversable controls.
Camera should be more behind the ship so you can see where youre flying. When you pass a rock, its hard to judge when you can get behind it the way it is now.
But I like the idea of your game. Encouraging people to play would be a small story so they fly with a purpose :) Good job on graphics and animation.

needs a weapon, maybe on slow charge that can be used occasionally.

not feeling it personally. Its to difficult to know if your going to collide with something from the current angle.
