2004년에 시작된 이 게임은 2003년작 Escape from Elm Street의 후속작으로 기획되었습니다. 친구 Joe(SleazeRocker)와 함께 만들었지만, 프로젝트가 중단되었습니다. 2005년 원작을 리메이크했고, 이 게임은 한동안 미뤄졌습니다. 2008년 초, 옛 작품을 버릴 수 없어 다시 작업해 모든 것을 개편하고 완성했습니다. 덕분에 게임의 문제점을 충분히 수정하고 다듬을 수 있었습니다. 음악가 Josh Kemp가 커스텀 사운드트랙 제작에 관심을 보여주어 분위기를 한층 살렸습니다. 즐겁게 플레이하세요!

OK i have had enough. You people who have been mocking the fact that Jason doesn't look like Jason. You wanna know why.... Cause it is not Jason!!! If you get all the poster pieces, you can read it and it says 'I know Jason will save me' and 'I am a fanatic' oh and ' I have kept his machete and mask. Also collect all 32 files and you will find that Cabin 3 is filled with posters from all of his movies, the mask and machete and a TV with games console. You also find a bed which has been slept in. This could be a reason for the so called pj's. Or it could be the fanatic is trying to put his own twist on it. at the end of the day you can't mock a game you haven't completed.
