update: I played the game via the download option on the dev side. It's actually pretty good; it seems the web version here is buggy. 3/5

I think this could easily get 4/5 with a little bit of polish but for now it's 2/5. Here's why:
* The game randomly crashes the entire tab
* The guy gets into this state where he can't use a metal detector or shovel
* Some controls aren't explained. For example, the fact that "T" empties the current load is not explained.
Just a few bug fixes could make this a great game.
