what does ctrl do? it's a pause button that stops your ship, but continues the time! if your going to submit a game, make it have a respectable ending, demo or not.

A nice start, but what's with the purple block killing the game?
A couple of suggestions: please add a visible level counter, and change the music - it's headache-inducing.
