Seems like a big step down from the last game. The manual targeting is awkward as hell without quick keys and the loss of equipment drop mechanic takes away a whole feature. If you wanted to add manual targeting to make the game more active, it would work better with the primary weapon.

I gained 9 levels for killing the last boss. Too bad you can't play any more after beating him so the levels are completely meaningless.

When I use the knife, I usually feel like I've wasted it. I pick a high-health target, because I figure that's a good use of it. But by the time the knife actually gets to the enemy, it's often already been changed to a low-health target by my primary weapon.
