Like it! But you really should expand the idea.
Add resources
For ex: If you have cows; in the minigame you should pair up grass If you have chickens -pair up seeds or worms etc to make the animals feel good.
And the better the animals feel the bigger income you get.
For different crops you would need water and fertilizers so in the minigame you have to pair them up.
And make the buildings refine the different resources. If you have a silo you get more seeds or crops when pairing up.
