Without furniture, your house will generate 3 gems every hour, with the most expansive furniture possible (costing 1625 gems) this increases to 10.5 per hour

PROTIP: If you want to furnish your house, do not buy anything else but the final upgrades. It will save you so much time on having to collect gems.
