I feel like this game would be greatly improved by giving the player the ability to close ranks: holding down a button causes the squad to huddle together as closely as possible to better avoid incoming fire, at the cost of reduced movement speed and only the squad leader shooting. This could allow the player the option of playing more conservatively, instead of treating the squad members as expendable fodder. Otherwise, the game really has potential.

Homing Missile Logic: "Man this helicopter is really f****** things up. But I better take out that suspicious crate over there just to be safe."

"Alright, men. You've been chosen because you're the best snipers our nation has seen. Find yourselves a safe hiding spot, and take out the enemies before they can pass you."
"Hmm, this highly flammable barrel of gas seems like a good place to hide..."

There is a serious problem with the dash skill. The only logical point to use it is when you want to get out of a bad situation, but all it does is dash you out and plonk you right in the middle of a horde of hostile forces.

"thanks for freeing me sir. may I join your team"? "of course not, I already have a maximum of 6 people. you'll have to wait until I level up before I can take you. but for now just go run into enemy territory. you should be safe there".
