説明
コンウェイのライフゲームを進化させるゲームアイデアのプロトタイプ。このゲームではライフゲームに新しい環境やセルタイプを追加。興味があれば、グリッドサイズ変更や編集ツール、セーブ管理、アンドゥ・リドゥ、さらなるセルタイプなど機能追加予定。
遊び方
スペース - シミュレーションの一時停止/再開。1～7 - セルタイプ選択。Esc - グリッドクリア。ルール：a) スタンダードは通常のライフゲームセル。b) パラサイトセルは健康なセルに感染。1. 近くにスタンダードセルがあれば変化。2. スタンダードまたはビルダーセルをパラサイト化。3. 周囲にセルがなければ死滅。c) ビルダーセルは隣接5個以上で過密死。d) ブリックセルは不活性で分割や隔離に最適。e) ウォーターセルはグリッドを洪水のように拡大。1. スタンダードセルが隣接2個で増殖可能。2. 他セルを上書きして拡大。3. 過密死しない。4. 8方向全てに拡大。5. サンドが隣接すると水を上書き。f) サンドセルは水に拡大。1. 隣接セルがなければ次世代で30%の確率で死滅。2. 隣接する水セルをサンドセルに変化。

I like the concept. Maybe do a walkthrough with the basic cycles from game of life, then make a level to accomplish something, then introduce the other aspects of yours, add a level for someone to complete. I liked the thumbnail, I was hoping id see it.

To reproduce what you see in the thumbnail first flood everything with water then put 2 standard cells side by side and let it run As for your suggestion. It makes sense and would make the game approachable by a wider audience. I am just not sure if it's worth the time for this kind of game. I am already working on my next project which I think will have more mainstream appeal. I will be uploading a demo hopefully this or next weekend

One of the better demos I've seen on Kong. Curious to see if you can make a game of Game of Life.
Thank you! I am glad someone got some enjoyment from this project. If there is enough people who enjoy it I don't mind adding more features and polishing the visuals

this was a lot of fun to play around with, just not sure what the point is
There is no goal other than to have fun. I'm not sure how I could change a game like this into something with goals

Hours of entertainment, I've always been pretty obsessed with the game of life. This reminds me of the old falling sand games from back in the day. I would love to see a way to share different creations with people. I find myself spending stupid ammounts of time creating things
I can make the sharing feature. I hope you do end up using it and referring the game to friends

a fine game, just dont understand what anything does....
The fun in this game is to discover patterns that do certain things and then using it to make interesting effects like in the examples. I am aware that this is off putting to most people due to the difficulty to find interesting patterns
