Thanks for the suggestion! I kind of thought pretty much nobody would ever reach that much... :P The opinions are actually pretty divided on this; I asked around and some people explicitly didn't want a higher limit (because I guess it's kind of fun to reach the limit) while others agreed with you! But I'll probably increase the limit once I manage to fix a certain performance issue. Right now, having 10,000 people is mostly fine on my computer but the framerate drops below 5 for a few hours of the in-game day on certain cities. When I fix that, I'll probably increase the maximum pop limit.
